Introduction to the Prairie

Zhengyang Grassland is located in Zhenping, Pingli and Chongqing Chengkou border the top of the Bashan Mountain, about 5 kilometers wide from north to south, about 50 kilometers long, its northern foothills are slower, the southern foothills are steep, the dividing line between Shaanxi and Chongqing is bounded by the southern edge of the grassland, and there are several cement boundary pile signs. Its formation has experienced the rise and fall of the sea and land, the uplift and collapse of mountain ranges, witnessed the reproduction and demise of ancient creatures, and at the same time gave birth to and protected countless new animal and plant species for us, so that today there are still a variety of endangered animals and plants that shock the world.

Walking in the Zhengyang Grassland, she delivers beautiful information to us visitors all the time and enriches our geographical knowledge. People usually know that Daba Mountain is the watershed between the Han River, the largest tributary of the Yangtze River, and the Jialing River, a sub-tributary, but few people know that its eastern section is also the watershed between the Ren River and the Lan River, a first-class tributary of the Han River, and the Zhengyang Grassland is the source of these two rivers, and they are less than 50 kilometers apart when they flow into the Han River! We stopped in front of a large wetland on the south side of the meadow, and looked at the direction of the guide's hand, and in the middle of the wetland there was a meandering stream that disappeared into the forest in the distance. He said that all the water flowed into the Ren River. The Ren River is in Ziyang County into the Han River, originally thought that its origin geography is of course on the northern slope of Bashan Mountain, which made it clear that the Ren River originates from the south side of the Zhengyang Grassland of Bashan Mountain, and those streams converge into a river, eclectic along the way, all the way south, and then turn east, across Chongqing Chengkou County, flow through Sichuan Wanyuan City, go north again, and finally cross the Daba Mountain Gorge into the Han River.
